About the conference

We cordially invite you to participate in the V International Scientific Conference on Agricultural Science “CURRENT STATE, PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRARIAN SCIENCES”, which will be held in the Republic of Crimea on October 5th-9th, 2020 (conference venue is being specified).

The program of the conference includes the following topics for discussion:
- Horticulture, arable farming, plant protection
- Selective breeding and seed breeding
- Biotechnology and physiology of plants
- Pharmacology of medicinal plants
- Extraction and biotechnology in medicinal plants
- Bioactive compounds
- Genetics, genomics, and breeding in melon
- Agricultural microbiology
- Land amelioration and water resources management
- Information technologies in agro-industry
In the course of the Conference, we plan to organize the VI International Youth School-Conference “AROMATIC PLANTS: THEORY AND PRACTICE” dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the foundation of Department of aromatic and medicinal plants, which is a part of Federal State Budget Scientific Institution “Research Institute of Agriculture of Crimea”. Leading specialists will introduce the audience to the history of the development, as well as to problems, prospects, the latest techniques and best practices in the field of essential oil industry. At the end of the scientific school, participants will be awarded certificates of participation (are not proof of advanced training courses). The work of the Conference will include scientific sessions and workshops.
The working languages of the conference are Russian and English.
REVIEW PROCESS
Only papers of original research type performing results of original studies are accepted.
The recommended size of a paper is 8-12 pages. The obligate condition for a scientific paper to submit is the accordance with IMRAD structure.
All papers pass scientific and technical review.
Within the framework of technical review all papers are thoroughly checked for the following attributes:
1) for compliance with the subject of the conference.
2) for plagiarism. Acceptable minimum of originality is 90{b48be0b6051c0bf87c1c2ffb608cbf328f4de2b3f5fdaf09dd1f904eeb5bc212}.
3) for acceptable English language.
4) At the same time papers are checked by a technical proofreader (quality of images, absence of Cyrillic, etc.).
Hereafter the scientific review is pursued.
Scientific review of each paper is made by at least 3 reviewers. If the opinions of the reviewers are radically different, additional reviewers are appointed. We do not use «Potential Reviewers» recommended by authors. Authors have a right to answer the remarks of reviewers and submit revised versions of their papers.
